SELECTION PROCESS FOR SUBMISSIONS

You will hear from OAIA by August 20th, 2016 about whether your abstract proposal has been accepted. If you are invited to proceed, you will be asked to confirm your participation by August 29th, 2016 and agree to submit all electronic files related to your submission (e.g. PowerPoint presentations) no later than (October 14th, 2016).

The following criteria will be used by the selection committee:

Link to conference current issues of interest
Applicability to environmental assessment practice and/or theory
Scientific merit
Clarity of presentation (e.g. abstract begins with a clear statement of issues)


Closer to the date of the conference, you will be contacted by the moderator for your session to discuss details about the session.

Registration

All presenters must register for the conference and pay the registration fees. There are several registration options available.

Travel and Other Expenses

No reimbursement for travel costs will be made. In some instances, with prior arrangement with the conference organizing committee, some assistance may be available to offset some travel costs.
