Sponsorship

In 2023, OAIA is organizing its annual conference and is now seeking sponsors.

The 2023 conference will take place on October 25 and 26, 2023. We plan to host the 2023 OAIA Conference in-person at The Faculty Club in the University of Toronto with options for virtual participation. Our conference is entitled: “Next Generation Impact & Environmental Assessment in Ontario”. More information about the conference can be found here: OAIA 2023 Conference.

Some of the reasons for sponsoring conference include:

• In recent years the in-person OAIA conference has attracted around 150 participants. We’ve also had between 70-150 people attend our webinars in 2020-2022.
• Participants come from industry, federal, provincial and municipal governments, Indigenous communities and organizations, and academia. As a sponsor, you can increase your organization’s visibility to current and potential clients and stakeholders and network with an audience of impact assessment professionals.
• Your organization can be associated with other thought and practice leaders in the field of impact assessment, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Your sponsorship will help demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility in the process of impact assessment.
• Ensure that your organization’s information is forefront during the conference.
• Give your staff the opportunity to network with leading practitioners and experts.

For the 2023 conference, the organizing committee has outlined sponsorship levels and the benefits associated with being a sponsor, including:

• Sponsorship at a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze level for in-person conference and webinar.
• Sponsorship of breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, and speaker gifts or travel for an in-person conference.
• Advertisement in Conference Program.

These options are detailed below.

The Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorship levels are the highest types of sponsorship available at our conference.  Companies that choose to be a Level Sponsor will benefit from high visibility at the conference/webinar, as well as complimentary registrations. We are currently proceeding with plans for an in-person conference with virtual options available.

In 2023 sponsorships are welcome to support virtual webinars being held throughout the year. Hosting webinars are not cost free for the OAIA, a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers.  As such, sponsorships of $500 to $1500 are welcome. Webinar sponsors will be acknowledged verbally by the facilitator and their logos would appear on the screen as a sponsor along with the OAIA logo as the host.
